Ramps, also known as wild leeks or wild garlic, are the first greens to appear in the woods each spring.

RampFest

For the past five years, we’ve enjoyed celebrating the new growing season with you at RampFest, our annual fundraiser.

But in these challenging economic times, we’ve decided to devote our staff time and funding wholly to our new programming to conserve farmland and train farmers. Taking this year off from RampFest gives our crucial programming, as well as the ramps in the woods, a chance to renew and regenerate.

Please click on the slideshow below to participate in a “Virtual Rampfest” consisting of photos from previous RampFest celebrations.

In lieu of attending RampFest, please donate now to help our programming efforts grow and bear fruit.

Here is what various donations will do for the earth and local food and farms.

  • $5,000 = one acre of farmland

  • $1000 = one year of training for a new farmer in our Farm Beginnings program (only $83/month with automatic recurring donation)

  • $500 = printed materials to let land owners know about their farmland conservation options (only $41/month)

  • $250 = 2 VIP tickets to the 2010 "Virtual RampFest" (funds general Land Connection programming) (only $21/month)

  • $125 = one VIP ticket to the 2010 "Virtual RampFest" (funds general Land Connection programming) (only $10.50/month)

  • $75 = one regular ticket to the 2010 "Virtual Rampfest" (to fund Land Connection programming)

Thank you very much.
