Illinois Farm Direct: happy eating, direct from the farm!
www.illinoisfarmdirect.org

Illinois Farm Direct helps you find fresh, locally grown food by connecting you with Illinois farmers who sell directly to consumers.

In Farm Direct, you'll find farmers in your area who are growing everything from juicy heirloom tomatoes, to succulent peaches, to farm-fresh poultry and eggs, to mushrooms, maple syrup, and strawberries.

You can search for farms by zip code or by the kind of fresh, local food you are looking for.

A project of The Land Connection, University of Illinois and the University of Illinois Extension, and Prairieland Slow Food, Farm Direct features 600 growers and processors and 200 farmers markets who sell directly to consumers.

If you know of a grower, producer, or processor who should be included in Illinois Farm Direct, please contact the University of Illinois at 217-333-6820 or onstad@uiuc.edu
