Apple Cheese Sliders
Ingredients
- 2 apples sliced
- 1 shallot sliced very thin
- 4 slices of your favorite cheese (brie or a sharp cheddar are nice)
- a few sprigs of fresh thyme
- 6 slices of baguette, or three rolls (any bread will do - use your favorite)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Heat butter and thyme in a pan over medium/high heat
- Cook apples and shallots in butter just until soft
- While apples and shallots are cooking, toast the bread
- When the apples, shallots, and bread are ready, add the slices of cheese to the hot pan for about 20 seconds
- Pile the apples and shallots onto the bread, and top with the cheese
- Serve and enjoy immediately!
