The Champaign Farmers Market’s Winter Bonus Program is back for a second year in partnership with United Way of Champaign County.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a current recipient of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits
- Must swipe your LINK card at least 5 times at the Champaign Farmers Market in 2019
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Champaign Farmers Market is pleased to provide 50 of our regular SNAP Market shoppers with a Winter Bonus Program to allow for continued purchasing of healthy fruits and vegetables during the winter months when our Market is closed. To qualify, current SNAP recipients must swipe their LINK card at the Champaign Farmers Market at least 5 times between May 14, 2019 and October 29, 2019. The first 50 recipients to sign up will receive $150 in vouchers to spend on fruits and vegetables at Common Ground Food Co-Op and the Urbana Market IN the Square from November 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020.
