This has been an incredibly difficult year for farmers with the unrelenting rain we have had in the Midwest. So let’s show our farmers some love! We are encouraging you to come and shop at BOTH markets during National Farmers’ Market Week–and we are going to enter you in a drawing for some great prizes if you do–here are the details:
- Go to the Land Connection’s Champaign Farmers’ Market on August 4 and buy some great food from your favorite farmers
- Go to Urbana’s Market at the Square on August 8 and buy some great food from your favorite farmers
- Take a picture of your market haul at the photo booth, and use the hashtag #CUatthemarkets on twitter or instagram, or share on the Facebook event page
That’s all you have to do! And you were probably going to do it anyway, right?
