Join The Land Connection and Healthy Champaign County for their first ever joint Book Club!

The club will read Ken Meter’s book, Building Community Food Webs.

The second half of the book will be covered at the April 11 Book Club. The first half of the book was covered at the March 21 book club. If you missed the March meeting – don’t worry – you are still welcome to join us to discuss the second half of the book!

About the Book

Building Community Food Webs sketches out how the industrial, commodity-centered food system has drained wealth from rural communities.

The book is for sale from Sola Gratia Farm, and can be purchased from their booth at the Champaign-Urbana Winter Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8AM to 12 PM inside of Lincoln Square Mall in Urbana.

Registration is not required to participate.
