Volunteering with The Land Connection is an opportunity for you to help make a bigger impact in our local food system. We frequently need assistance with:
- Data Entry – We collect a variety of data from our stakeholders including surveys, evaluations, and feedback. We also track data for grants and our annual reports. If you have experience with using Microsoft Office and Google Drive, we would love your assistance.
- Filing – Now and again, we get a bit behind on keeping our files in order. We would love someone who is detail-oriented and interested in keeping our paper trails organized.
Do you bring another skill or experience that you feel could be useful to The Land Connection? This is a very limited list of what happens in our organization on a daily basis, so please reach out and let us know how you can contribute.

- Champaign Farmers Market
The Market is open for the season and we need all hands on deck! We are looking for two volunteers each week. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old and volunteer shifts are available on Tuesday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. (May – October) and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (November-April). - Organic Grain Conference
Each year in early February, we host the Organic Grain Conference in Champaign, Illinois. It takes many volunteers to ensure attendees have a wonderful experience. We need assistance with room monitors, video taping, check-in, exhibitors, and many other roles.
